I painted many different projects for Harry Murphy: every imaginable detail in the house he designed and had built (see Interior Painting and Exterior Painting), many sets of three dimensional giant letters for the GAP chain of stores, outdoor signs, wall sculptures in his house and hanging sculptures in New Orleans and Florence, Kentucky (see Painted Sculptures).
One example of Harry’s “supergraphic” designs is The 21st Point athletic club in Mountain View, Ca. Inside the club I painted three walls with large graphics; this is part of one of those walls.
I plotted these images including the lettering on both sides, masked, and painted.
