My client gave me carte blanche for these long countertops.  I used polished cut stone from his extensive rock collection as inspiration for this painted finish.  It looks completely new 13 years later!

All materials from Fine Paints of Europe:
Oil primer;  Hascolac Brilliant off-white base paint; custom bronzed-gray glaze spattered while wet with water and other incompatible solvents; fine sanded when dry; clear top coats.

EPIFANES

Belvedere, Marin County, Ca.
For this large custom-built front door with extreme exposure, we stripped the weathered varnish completely to bare wood, saturated it with epoxy sealer, filled cracks with epoxy, stained, and applied many coats of Epifanes brand marine gloss varnish, finishing with dull satin. Door stripped to seal with Smith & Co CPES and stain.
